2024-2025 Block Exchange

How does the Block Exchange work?
You make a set of twelve (12) identical 9″ blocks. Keep one for yourself, and bring eleven (11) blocks to the guild meeting. The coordinator will shuffle the blocks around and you will go home with eleven (11) blocks, each of which is different from your original block.
There will be 4 block exchanges over the next year, so in the end you will have 48 different blocks. A setting of 6 blocks by 8 blocks will result in a quilt that is 54″ x 72″ without sashing and borders.
Fabric Requirements
Your blocks should include four different bright Batiks (one for each quadrant of the block) and one light colored Batik for the background.
For each of the four block exchanges, use a different set of colors for your blocks so that we have plenty of variety for our quilts.
