Who They Are:
The North Gwinnett Cooperative was formed in 1991 as a ministry that provides food, clothing, financial assistance and spiritual support to those in need in the Buford, Suwanee, and Sugar Hill communities. Originally formed by Sugar Hill United Methodist Church in 1991, the ministry is now supported by additional congregations, area businesses, civic organizations, schools and individuals who generously donate food, clothing, financial resources, and committed volunteer efforts.

What They Do:
- Food Distributed to over 37,000 people annually
- Financial Assistance provided for lights, heat, and water
- Financial Assistance for non-narcotic prescription medication
- Free Backpack & School Supplies
- Spring Break Meals & End Hunger Summer Program
- Holiday Meal & Gift Programs
How Spirited Quilters Participates:
Our Guild participates by collecting donations each month to give to the North Gwinnett Co-Op. Each month there is a different theme for what we would like to collect (e.g. snacks, toiletries, canned goods, etc.), or you can donate money instead and we will buy what is needed.
